I've added a new painting named Alicia in the Misfits gallery. Alicia is another one of my interpretations of Alice in Wonderland, this time placed in the universe of The Misfits.

I don't often make artwork inspired by fashion, but the works of Alexander Mcqueen had been very inspirational to me. Out of all of his work, his Fall 2009 collection left a long lasting impression on me. I felt absolutely compelled to make an art piece of my own upon hearing of his untimely death, and an entry in the Misfits collection just seemed fitting to me.
For my inspiration, I looked to the tones and textiles of McQueen's Fall 2009 collection, as well as the Leigh Bowery styled makeup that inspired McQueen himself.
